1. About Zoop
Zoop (operated by [Entity Name], hereinafter "Zoop", "we", "us") is a motorcycle resale concierge platform that facilitates the sale of used motorcycles and scooters by connecting individual sellers with a network of verified dealers across India. We operate as an intermediary and do not purchase vehicles directly.
2. Eligibility
To use Zoop, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be the registered owner of the vehicle you wish to sell, or have valid authority to act on the owner's behalf.
- Provide a valid Indian mobile number and complete OTP verification.
- Possess all original vehicle documents including the Registration Certificate (RC), insurance, and PUC certificate.
3. The Zoop Process
The Zoop seller journey consists of the following steps: vehicle registration lookup, phone verification, user profiling, listing creation, professional inspection, dealer auction, and final payment and vehicle pickup. By initiating this process, you agree to cooperate in good faith at each stage.
3.1 Vehicle Information
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all information provided about your vehicle. Zoop verifies basic registration data via government RC records but does not independently verify mechanical condition, accident history, or loan encumbrances prior to inspection. Providing false or misleading information may result in cancellation of the sale and potential legal liability.
3.2 Inspection
A Zoop-appointed inspector will physically examine the vehicle at an agreed time and location. The inspection report generated is shared with our dealer network and forms the basis of auction bids. The inspection is provided as a service to facilitate the sale and does not constitute a warranty or guarantee of condition.
3.3 Auction and Final Price
Your vehicle is presented to Zoop's dealer network in a blind auction format. The highest bid is presented to you as the final offer. You are under no obligation to accept. If you accept, the sale becomes binding and cancellation may attract a service charge as described in our Refund Policy.
4. Seller Obligations
- Ensure the vehicle is free of any active loan or hypothecation at the time of transfer, or arrange for NOC from the lender prior to transfer.
- Provide valid government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN) for KYC and payment processing.
- Be present (or provide authorised representative) for vehicle pickup at the agreed time.
- Cooperate with the RTO transfer process as outlined in our RTO Transfer Policy.
- Not sell the vehicle through any other channel after accepting a Zoop offer.
5. Platform Fees
Zoop charges a service fee which is deducted from the final sale amount before disbursement to the seller. The applicable fee percentage will be clearly communicated to you before you accept any offer. There are no upfront charges for listing or inspection.
6. Limitation of Liability
Zoop's liability in connection with any sale facilitated through the platform shall not exceed the service fee collected for that transaction. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including loss of expected sale price due to market conditions or inspection findings.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this platform including logos, text, and design elements are the property of Zoop or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.
8. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in [City], India. We encourage amicable resolution first — please contact our grievance officer before initiating legal proceedings.
